Make ChatGPT Erase You From the Internet, Then Keep You Erased
This is the full prompt chain from the video. Removing yourself from data broker sites is not hard, it is just relentless, and two things make people quit halfway. This setup hands both of them to ChatGPT.
The two things that stop everyone
The confirmation email. Almost every data broker sends a verification link after you submit an opt-out, and the removal does not happen until someone clicks it. That is where people quit, halfway through, with forty unconfirmed requests sitting in an inbox.
Removal is temporary. Brokers rebuild their listings from public records, so you reappear within weeks and nobody goes back to check.
ChatGPT Work closes both. The Gmail connector lets it find the confirmation emails and click them itself, and scheduled tasks let it re-run the entire sweep without being asked again.
Before you start
A paid ChatGPT plan. Work is bundled into Plus at no extra cost, so if you already pay for ChatGPT you have it.
The web version is fine. The agent browser runs on the web version, so you do not need the desktop app to do any of this. It opens the sites and fills in the forms either way.
You do not need to tell it who you are. It already has your name from your account, which is why the prompts are shorter than you would expect. If it asks for a city or an age to separate you from someone with the same name, give it then.
Prompt 1: Find every site holding your data
This one builds the map. It sends the agent browser across the people-search sites and brokers rather than skimming the first page of Google, and the table it returns is what everything else works from.
Expect the results to be worse than you think they will be.

Do this now, before you run the opt-out prompt, because the next step depends on it.
Press the + button in the message box and select Gmail. That is what lets ChatGPT open the confirmation emails and click the verification links itself.
If it will not connect, restart the session and try again. That clears it almost every time.
Prompt 2: Opt out everywhere, and confirm it
This is the one that matters. The first half submits the removals. The second half is the part that was impossible before the Gmail connector, and it is the difference between a request and an actual removal.
Verification links expire, usually in 24 to 72 hours. An unconfirmed request quietly dies.
The last line is worth keeping. A few brokers ask for a photo ID, and that is a decision you want to make yourself.
Work through that table one site at a time. Open each opt-out page, fill in my details, and submit the removal request. Then check my Gmail for the confirmation emails those sites send back, open each one, and click the verification link inside it. Keep a running log of what has been submitted, what has been confirmed, and anything that failed. Removal does not hold. Brokers rebuild from public records, and a name that was clean in March is usually back by May. The scheduled task is what makes it stick, because the re-check happens whether or not you remember.
45 days is the sweet spot. It lines up with how fast most brokers relist, without burying you in reports.

Worth knowing so you are not surprised halfway through.
Some brokers require photo ID. A handful will not process a removal without a government ID upload. That is your call to make, not something to hand to an agent, which is why the stop-and-ask line is in prompt 2.
Court records and public filings stay. Property records, court documents and business filings are public by law. You can remove the broker's copy, not the source.
Google results are separate. Taking the listing down does not clear the search result. Use Results about you for that side.
It will not be perfect. Expect the big brokers gone, a long tail that needs a second pass, and a few that need you personally.
Why you are on these sites at all
You never signed up for any of them. Data brokers assemble profiles from public records, loyalty programs, app permissions, warranty cards and each other, then sell the result. Being listed is the default, not something you opted into, which is why the removal burden lands on you.
