Make Your Own JARVIS for Free (Real JARVIS Voice, One Prompt)
This is the JARVIS from my video. You grab two free keys, paste one prompt into Claude, and he's talking back to you in a couple of minutes.
What you need
- A computer running Windows, Mac or Linux
- Python 3.10 or newer
- Chrome or Edge, because they have voice input built in
- Claude Code, or the Claude desktop app switched to Code
- Two free keys, which you'll get in the next two steps
Step 1: get your free brain key
Go to OpenRouter and switch the price toggle to free. These are free AI reasoning models, and one of them becomes JARVIS's brain.
Now open openrouter.ai/keys and create a key. It starts with sk-or-. Copy it somewhere safe. The free tier gives you 50 requests a day, which is plenty to play with.
Want Claude Code itself to run on free models too? Here's that guide.
Step 2: pick your voice on Fish Audio
🎙️ Open Fish Audio and grab the JARVIS voice
- Tap here to open Fish Audio and go to the Discovery tab.
- Search for Jarvis and pick a voice you like. There are hundreds to choose from, or you can make your own.
- Open the voice and copy the long code at the end of the URL. That's the model ID.
The prompt below already uses the JARVIS voice, 41f0953d7a6b4c078445c7e65d620eeb. Two more you can try: Jarvis MCU 612b878b113047d9a770c069c8b4fdfe and E-girl 98655a12fa944e26b274c535e5e03842.
Step 3: get your free Fish Audio API key
On Fish Audio, go to Developers and create an API key. Copy it.
And here's what's crazy: Fish Audio's S2.1 Pro voice model is free on the API until November 30, 2026. The JARVIS repo uses that free model by default, so the voice costs you nothing.
Want to build more with it? Try Fish Audio's API and MCP in your own projects too.
Step 4: paste one prompt
Open Claude Code, or switch the Claude desktop app to Code. Paste this and swap in your two keys:
Wake up, Claude. We're building JARVIS.
Repo: https://github.com/AKCodez/make-your-own-jarvis
Voice: Fish Audio model 41f0953d7a6b4c078445c7e65d620eeb (the JARVIS voice)
Fish Audio key: PASTE_YOUR_FISH_AUDIO_KEY
OpenRouter key: PASTE_YOUR_OPENROUTER_KEY
Set him up on my computer, bring him online, and tell me when he's ready. That's it
Hit Enter and Claude sets everything up, then opens JARVIS in your browser. Click the page once, hold Space and talk. Boom, you've got your own JARVIS.
Next time, start him by double-clicking run.bat on Windows or running ./run.sh on Mac and Linux.
If you'd rather not paste your keys into a chat, the manual steps are in the repo.
Make him yours
Open Claude Code in the JARVIS folder and just ask:
Make JARVIS call me "boss" instead of "sir".Make JARVIS more sarcastic, like he's tired of my questions.Switch JARVIS to the Fish Audio voice 612b878b113047d9a770c069c8b4fdfe.
Say "activate e-girl mode" if you want to ruin him, and "activate jarvis mode" to bring him back.
Only use voices you have the rights to, and never clone someone's voice without their permission.
