Turn Your Dog Into a Powerlifter With One Photo (Kling 4.0 Prompt on Artlist)
All you need is one photo of your dog and one prompt. Here's the exact prompt I typed in the video, plus a fill-in version for your own dog. It runs on Kling 4.0 inside Artlist.
What you're making
A cinematic clip of your dog as an upright, muscular athlete pulling a heavy deadlift at a powerlifting meet. Arena lights and chalk dust everywhere.
It runs on Kling 4.0, the latest Kling video model inside Artlist's AI Toolkit. You give it one photo of your dog as the image reference, paste the prompt, and that's it.
Step 1: Take a photo of your dog
Full body, good light, face clearly visible. Outside on grass works great, that's the kind of photo I used in the video.
The model copies what it sees. The fur color, markings, ears and collar in your photo are what end up on the athlete, so pick the photo that looks most like your dog.
Step 2: Open Artlist and switch to Kling 4.0
⚡ Open Artlist
- Tap here to open Artlist and sign in.
- Tap the menu in the top right and pick Video.
- Tap the settings icon next to Video and switch the model to Kling 4.0.
- For a reel, set the aspect ratio to 9:16, then close settings.
Step 3: Add your dog as the image reference
Tap the plus button and upload the photo. It shows up as @img1, your image reference. Now Kling knows exactly which dog to put on the platform.
Step 4: Paste the prompt
This is the exact prompt I typed in the video. It's written for a Doberman, so if your dog is a different breed, grab the fill-in version below instead. Paste it, hit generate, and boom.
A photorealistic cinematic video of the exact Doberman from the reference image competing in a powerlifting meet. He is an upright, human-like athlete with muscular shoulders, arms, grasping hands and powerful legs, covered in short black-and-rust fur. Preserve his recognizable face, brown eyes, natural floppy ears and silver chain collar. He wears a fitted black powerlifting singlet and a thick lifting belt.
Begin with a low close-up of his hands gripping a heavily loaded steel barbell with red competition plates. His feet are planted on the wooden lifting platform. As he pulls the bar upward, the camera tilts up to reveal his torso and face. Show believable weight, muscle tension, a slightly bending bar and a continuous firm grip. He straightens into a full deadlift lockout, holds briefly, then throws his head back and lets out a triumphant roar. He releases the bar onto the platform with a heavy impact and a small burst of chalk dust.
A large, bald, bearded coach steps forward and grabs his shoulders in celebration. Finish with a close-up of the Doberman looking toward the camera as the coach celebrates behind him.
Dark indoor competition venue, spectators watching, overhead arena lighting, realistic shadows, shallow depth of field and natural motion blur. Maintain the same Doberman identity and athletic proportions throughout. The result should look like a live-action sports broadcast of a fantastical athlete. No cartoon styling, plastic fur, costume appearance, four-legged stance, extra limbs, slipping grip, floating weights, text or added cuts that skip the lift. The fill-in version for any dog
Swap the bits in brackets for your dog and keep everything else exactly the same. All that detail about the grip, the bar and the camera is what makes the lift look real.
If your dog is a girl, change he and his to she and her.

Every generation comes out a little different, so run it two or three times and keep the best one.
If the face doesn't look like your dog, use a sharper photo with the face toward the camera. If he ends up on four legs, just generate again.
